SAVE THE DATE FOR FLAILFEST ‘24

Mark your calendars for November 9th! Coeur Climbing is thrilled to present our second annual FlailFest, a regional bouldering competition for all skill levels! Plan to rub shoulders with climbers from all over the region when you attend. You’ll get a chance to test your skill, gain valuable insights about how you can improve, and learn from watching other talented climbers. Last year’s competition was absolutely a highlight of the year, and we’re stoked to be bringing it back to our community!

Time: 8 AM to 8:30 PM

Who It's For

This event welcomes all bouldering enthusiasts!

Participants can choose to compete in one of the 5 different age/skill level divisions, or compete in the overall OPEN division (no age requirement). Each of these six divisions has a male and female category (except 12 and under which will be combined):

• Age 12 and under

• Age 13-18 

• Age 19-39: Beginner (V0-V3)

• Age 19-39: Intermediate (V3-V6)

• Age 19-39: Advanced (V6-V8)

• Age 40+

• OPEN (V8+)

The competition involves our skilled routesetters preparing 40-50 challenging routes with specific point values. Climbers choose routes, judges verify the climbs, and scores are tracked. Awards are given to top male and female climbers in each of the five age/skill level categories. The top five OPEN competitors advance to the finals, new problems are set during the intermission, and awards are presented to the top five male and female OPEN competitors in the final round.

Prizes

Winners will receive exciting awards from vendors, partners, and Coeur Climbing.

Food

We’ll have delicious food available at the event from some of our amazing community partners.

Membership Not Required

No membership? No worries! You don't have to be a member of Coeur Climbing to join in. However, members can enjoy a $10 registration discount!

Registration:

• Members: $50/person

• Non-Members: $60/person

• 12 and under: $25/person
