COEUR CLIMBING PARTNERS WITH KSPS PBS FOR GAME QUEST

Exciting news! We’re partnering with KSPS PBS for an awesome kids’ program during the 2024-2025 school year: Game Quest! In Game Quest, kids in grades 1 to 4 complete puzzles, games, and activities to earn badges and become a Game Quest Master. The program helps kids increase their literacy and critical thinking skills, and practice healthy physical activity. Families can sign up and play for free.

how the program works

  1. Families create a free account.

  2. Kids complete activities to earn the first badge (Super Sleuth)

  3. They’ll receive a Game Quest welcome kit and a decoder wheel! This makes kids official Game Quest agents and enables them to use the decoder in the subsequent challenges.

  4. Each week, a new badge is unlocked. Kids can complete 4 out of the 6 activities that week to earn the badge (so you can skip two and still complete that week).

  5. After completing the first month of badges, kids will receive a Game Quest T-shirt in the mail.

  6.  If they earn all the weekly badges, they’ll become a Game Quest Master and receive something extra special! The program includes optional badges for local and online events.

Where we come in

Coeur Climbing is contributing day passes to the program rewards. The program starts in September– don’t miss out! To learn more about Game Quest and to sign up, visit the KSPS website.
