Summer Camp Recap: Relive the Excitement!

Over the course of this summer, Coeur Climbing Company had the opportunity to host a variety of kiddos for our weekly summer camps! Here’s a look back at everything, from the basic principles surrounding techniques to sparking a passion for climbing.

Learning and Progress: Growth Before our Eyes

Over the course of just one week, many of our campers saw progress many of our adult climbers wish they could have. Not only did our dedicated instructors teach a variety of techniques in the camps, they also instilled a degree of confidence that saw many of our campers overcome their fears and ascend to the top of the wall! To be frank, their confidence was rather inspiring for many of us in the gym.

Laughter and Passion: Fun-Filled Adventures

Our carefully curated curriculum also included a unique set of challenges and games that evoked many joyous moments of laughter. Water days on Thursdays were particularly fun, as campers engaged in tug-of-wars with the losing team being pulled into a pool! These extra-curriculars not only built the strength necessary for climbing, but also promoted a sense of teamwork amongst the camps.

Lighting the Fire: Igniting a Passion for Rock Climbing

As avid climbers ourselves, our goal this year was to ignite a genuine passion for rock climbing in all our summer camp campers that will carry on for the foreseeable future. Seeing that passion develop was inspiring and reignited many of our own skills and desires.

We want to say thanks to all those families who participated this year! We would love for you to fill out this simple survey so we can keep improving them. Hopefully we see you again along with many new faces for years to come!

If your kid loved the experience, check out our Youth Teams. It’s an opportunity for continuing climbing instruction year-round!
