New Member Reception at Coeur Climbing
Just joined Coeur Climbing? Walking into a new gym can feel exciting and a little intimidating at the same time. That's exactly why we host a new member reception a few times a year. Climbing is all about community here at Coeur, whether that looks like a regular partner you meet for Tuesday night sets or a stranger who happens to share beta on the route you've been projecting for two weeks.
We want to help that community feel real from day one.
What Is the Coeur Climbing New Member Reception?
The new member reception is a relaxed, low-key event designed to help you connect with other climbers, meet the people behind the gym, and get a feel for what Coeur is really about: climbing, community, and connection.
Any member is welcome to attend, but if you've joined recently, this one's especially for you.
What Happens at the event?
Come climb, meet people, and hang out. Owner Daniel and General Manager John will both be there to answer questions, say hello, and serve up pancakes while you settle in.
We'll also have one of our regular community events or challenges going on, so you can see the gym in action, learn what's coming up, and jump in if you're ready. It's a great way to get a feel for the energy here and meet climbers at every level.
Who Should Attend?
Everyone who has recently joined is encouraged to come. Long-time members are always welcome too. If you're still on the fence about membership, come experience the energy firsthand and see what you'd be joining.
Not a member yet? Join before the event and let this be your official welcome into the Coeur community.

Why Community Matters in Climbing
Climbing is genuinely more fun with other people around. Having someone cheer you on, suggest a different foot position, or just be there when you finally stick the move you've been working on, that's what keeps people coming back. This reception is our way of helping you find your people sooner rather than later.
come say hi
Swing by when the next reception is on the calendar. RSVP on Facebook so we can save you a pancake, but show up even if you didn't.
