In partnership with Peak 7 Adventures, this 4-week course blends indoor training with an outdoor climbing day at Q'emiln Park in Post Falls, one of North Idaho's premier climbing spots. Perfect for climbers who want to expand beyond the gym and learn to climb outdoors!
Course Description
This class consists of three 2-hour indoor sessions at Coeur Climbing Company, followed by a final 4-6 hour outdoor session at Q'emiln Park in Post Falls. All four classes will be instructed by competent roped climbing instructors and outdoor guides with licenses and certifications. Participants will gain the knowledge and practice to begin their journey into the realm of outdoor climbing. The final session will occur on real rock and give the participants the confidence to continue climbing outdoors on their own.

● Gain the knowledge and skills in a controlled indoor environment before going outside. The outdoor class will be conducted by Peak 7 Adventures and Coeur Climbing Company in a collaboration to provide the participants an exciting culmination of their new roped climbing skills.

Session 1
Thursdays 7/31, 8/7, and 8/14, 5-7 pm at Coeur Climbing
Saturday 8/23, a final 4-6 hour outdoor class at Q'emiln Park (weather permitting)
Session 2
Thursdays 8/27, 9/4, and 9/11, 5-7 pm at Coeur Climbing
Saturday 9/20, a final 4-6 hour outdoor class at Q'emiln Park (weather permitting)

Requirements
Ages 14 and up are welcome. Basic climbing knowledge is required, to the point where leading a 5.9 graded route is desired. Preregistration and full payment are required at the time of booking.
