Coeur Climbing Is Turning Three!
On Saturday, June 20th, please join us at Coeur Climbing to celebrate our third anniversary! For three years, Coeur has served as the local climbing community's home base — bringing fun, connection, and community to northern Idaho. And we couldn't have done any of it without you. So a big thanks to our members and community! Now let's celebrate!
Order of Operations
To properly celebrate you, the gym, and everything that makes this community special, we're throwing a party! We'll have a whole slew of activities — everything from a bouldering competition to a blind raffle to tug-of-war water games. Keep reading for all the deets!
The Birthday Bouldering Bash
The main attraction is our taped bouldering competition! Routes will be color-coded by our dedicated setting team, with each route awarded points. There are categories for all levels, and prizes will be up for grabs across the board. Judging is self-guided, so please be honorable and respectful of your fellow competitors. Here's the timeline:
Gym and registration open at 9am
Competition runs 10am–12:30pm
Winners announced at 2pm
Shenanigans go until 2:30pm
Gym stays open until 7pm — stick around and keep climbing!
Members can compete for just $20, while non-members can join in for $30 (and seriously, this might be the nudge you need to become one). We'll have prizes from our wonderful vendors across several category levels, so everyone has a shot at winning. And if you participate in the competition, part of your ticket cost goes toward a free meal!

Right after the competition, the party festivities kick off! We'll have a taste of our summer yoga lawn program, a hangboard competition out front, a sumo-crash-pad wrestling bracket, and a team tug-of-war where the losers get dunked. And most exciting of all: a blind raffle giveaway with prizes wrapped so you have no idea what you're getting. The raffle is open to everyone, regardless of whether you compete:
1 ticket for spectators
2 tickets for competitors
Dads get 2 extra tickets — it's Father's Day weekend!
And what birthday party would be complete without food, drinks, and cake? Comp registration includes food! Everything wraps up at 2pm with the competition winner announcements, a special membership promotion reveal, and the raffle drawing.
