Here’s the next installment of our spotlight on the amazing brands we’ll be relying on for our gear and carrying in our retail area! Today, it’s Petzl.

Petzl is a family owned business that has become the largest European manufacturer of personal protective equipment for those who work and play in darkness or at height, focusing on innovation, industrial excellence, and community engagement.

Here are some examples of Petzl products we plan to carry.

DJINN AXESS Quickdraw

This reliable, durable quickdraw delivers a wide rope contact zone to limit rope drag, and a Keylock system to prevent snagging.

OUISTITI child harness

This full-body climbing harness is for children weighing less than 66 lbs. Easy to put on and adjust, it does not require a connector to be fastened, and the adjustment system is difficult for a child to access. The padded foam structure and the front tie-in point make it a comfortable harness, even while hanging.

WILLIAM carabiner

This large, asymmetrical locking carabiner is designed for belay stations and belaying with a Munter hitch. The WILLIAM carabiner has a pear shape that is practical for easily connecting multiple items. The ergonomic shape and Keylock system make it easy to handle, even when wearing gloves. We’ll be carrying the triple action, auto-locking version of the WILLIAM.
