COEUR CLIMBING PARTNERS WITH EMERGE CDA FOR SUMMER ART CAMPS
Coeur Climbing is thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Emerge CDA for our 2024 summer camps! Emerge is a nonprofit arts organization based in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Their mission is to engage all members of the community in a variety of high quality creative outlets, while offering a platform for emerging artists to cultivate their careers as professionals. We love how much Emerge brings to our local community – and they’ll be bringing their enthusiasm and expertise to our summer camps! Here are the details:
During select weeks this summer, students can add to their climbing camp two hours full of fun crafts and fine art activities led by one of Emerge’s dedicated art instructors. Projects will include painting, drawing, collage, fiber arts, and even sculpture! Kids can add the art session to their climbing camp, or sign up just for the art camp if they choose.
We will host the 2-hour art camp add-on in Coeur Climbing’s birthday party room during the following weeks:
July 8th - 12th, 11:30am - 1:30pm, ages 5-9
July 15th - 19th, 10:30am - 12:30pm, ages 9-14
July 29th - August 2nd, 11:30am - 1:30pm, ages 5-9
August 19th - 23rd, 10:30am - 12:30pm, ages 9-14
The art camp sessions priced at $125/camper will take place before the climbing camp sessions or after, depending on the ages and dates you select.
In addition to the added fun for Coeur Climbing’s campers, this partnership will allow community members living in Post Falls access to Emerge’s arts programs without the extra commute. It’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone!
