Camp Highlights – What Kids Loved Last Year
Summer is right around the corner, and that means it’s time for another season of epic climbing camps at Coeur Climbing! Last year’s camps were filled with adventure, challenges, and tons of fun. Here were some of the highlights according to kids!
Highlight #1: Taking on New Challenges
Kids pushed their limits and conquered exciting climbing challenges.
Many campers surprised themselves with how much they improved in just a few days! Even kids with minimal climbing experience were able to have fun and see progress.
Learning the basics of safety and technique helped build their confidence and skills.
Kids enjoyed getting to learn roped climbing and how to use the autobelay, and also the basics of bouldering.

Older campers reported especially enjoying the more difficult areas of the walls as they liked the challenge. Younger and older campers also loved using the hanging climbing tower!
Highlight #2: Fun Group Activities & Games
Campers enjoyed interactive games that made learning climbing techniques even more exciting.
Our camp counselors planned plenty of fun activities, including some outdoors water fun for some of the extra hot days!
Campers loved getting to play and have fun.
Highlight #3 Art camp!
2024 campers had the option to include a two-hour art camp on select weeks, thanks to Emerge CDA. Coeur Climbing is thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Emerge again this year! Parents loved the opportunity to add another activity to the camp day, and campers had a blast creating amazing take-home projects with various techniques.
Projects included painting, drawing, collage, fiber arts, and even sculpture! Kids can add the art session to their climbing camp, or sign up just for the art camp if they choose.

Highlight #4: Making New Friends
Kids enjoyed meeting new friends and hanging out with other kids their age!
