membership types & qualifications

  • Adult: Members over 15 Years of age that do not meet student, military or first responder requirements.

  • Couples: Two adults residing in the same household (Spouse or Significant Other, Not Applicable for Roommates.

  • Dependent child add-ons: dependent children aged 18 and younger who are all living at the same address.

  • Student: High school, undergraduate, or graduate student with current student ID.

  • Military or First Responder: Active military or first responder with current ID. First Responder is a Police Officer, Firefighter, EMT, or Paramedic.

  • Youth: 14 and Under.

membership proof of eligibility

Proof of eligibility for discounted Memberships and other discounts will be required. Failure to provide proof of discount eligibility will result in non-discount dues and increased rates being assessed. This is not considered an increase in dues and does not require 60 days written notice, although reasonable notice will be provided.

general notices and rights

  • Coeur Climbing Company reserves the right to increase dues at its discretion with 60 days written notice. Written notices are sent electronically to the email address provided to Coeur Climbing Company during the account set-up process. Coeur Climbing Co reserves the right to change or discontinue member benefits without notice or refund.

  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your membership if you violate our gym rules, engage in misconduct, or fail to comply with the terms and conditions of the membership agreement. You agree to abide by the posted Rules & Etiquette of Coeur Climbing Company. If your access or membership is revoked, suspended, or terminated, you understand that you are not entitled to a refund for dues already paid.

  • Coeur Climbing Company reserves the right to amend, change, update or modify its terms and conditions at any time.

monthly autopay terms

  • This membership is a DUES paying membership. It begins the day of purchase and continues through at least the end of the next month following that date, meaning that cancellation is not possible until at least one full month of billing occurs. It then continues indefinitely until canceled or changed.

  • On the start date, you will be billed for your membership at a prorated amount for the remainder of the current calendar month.

  • On the 1st of each month, full monthly dues as listed on the "Purchase a Membership" page of Coeur Climbing Company’s online portal will be paid to Coeur Climbing Company by electronic funds transfer (EFT) and under no circumstances is any portion of the monthly membership dues refundable. In the event of a declined EFT payment, a decline fee of $5 will be charged.

  • An initiation fee is required to activate your monthly EFT membership.

  • The $49 initiation fee is a one-time non-refundable payment. Initial fees will be waived for additional household members.

  • The amount of the initiation fee will be clearly communicated to you prior to signing up for the membership.

  • The initiation fee is separate from the monthly dues and is not applied towards the monthly payments.

  • We reserve the right to modify the initiation fee at any time, with prior notice to existing members.

  • Any changes to the initiation fee will not affect members who have already paid the initiation fee.

  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your membership if you violate our gym rules, engage in misconduct, or fail to comply with the terms and conditions of the membership agreement.

  • By paying the initiation fee, you are confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in the membership agreement.

family membership terms

  • A couple is two significant others living at the same address (excludes roommates).

  • All members within a family membership MUST reside in the same household.

  • One person in a couples membership must be designated as the primary member.

  • Family memberships MUST be paid for on the credit card of the primary member.

  • Any dependent children add-ons must be 18 years or younger and reside in the same household.

  • If the primary member or one member of a couple cancels their membership during the term of their agreement, the family discount will be terminated, and all other associated memberships will be adjusted to standard rates upon the next billing cycle.

cancellations & holds - (only available for monthly autopay)

  • Coeur Climbing members with regular autopay (EFT) billing are allowed to put their memberships on hold if needed once their membership has been activated. Holds allows members to pause their membership billing until they are able to resume climbing again.

  • You are entitled to pause your membership for a maximum period of two (2) consecutive months.

  • Membership holds cannot be requested retroactively or applied to past months.

  • All cancellation and hold requests may be submitted at any time and will become effective for the next billing date.

  • Your membership will remain active until the next billing date, at which point the cancellation or hold request will take effect. For example, a cancellation or hold request received on December 25 will take effect on January 1st. A cancellation or hold request received on January 13 will take effect on February 1st.

  • We do not offer refunds for payments on memberships which have not been canceled/or put on hold on time.

  • Consecutive hold requests for the same membership term may not be allowed.

  • If you decide to cancel your membership during a hold period, the standard cancellation policy will apply. Please refer to the membership agreement for further details.

  • By submitting a hold request, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in the membership agreement.

  • Memberships will automatically renew once the two month hold period expires and billing will continue unless canceled.

annual membership information

  • This prepaid membership is valid for 12 months or 365 days upon in-store redemption at Coeur Climbing Company. Prepaid Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be frozen, terminated, or otherwise suspended. Twelve (12) guest passes are issued at purchase and used while the membership is active. This membership includes unlimited first-time visitor passes redeemable at a maximum of 2 per day during the entire membership period.

  • By purchasing an annual membership you acknowledge that you have been advised of and fully understand the Membership Details, Terms, and Dues outlined during purchase.

Cancellations (general memberships)

  • Members may make changes to their membership online or in person at our location

  • The entire outstanding balance on your account must be paid prior to cancellation.

  • Cancellation of your membership will forfeit grandfathered rates or discounted membership rates, and any reinstated memberships will be at current rates.
