John discovered his passion for the outdoor community in Northern Idaho after moving back to the area where he was raised. His climbing journey began in Portland, Oregon after following his college roommates to the local gym, and it's been an exciting adventure ever since filled with everything from new heights to broken bones. In lieu of actually working, you’ll often find John heckling his friends while they’re on the wall, secretly buying Aspen’s love with treats, and getting scared on any vertical surface in the gym.
John has been with Coeur since its inception and is incredibly grateful to be part of such a vibrant community. He looks forward to seeing the local climbing scene flourish as more and more people experience the elation of wrestling pebbles.
