ANGUS Meredith

It’s not about the climbing or even the beautiful locations of the climbs. It’s the people that you get to spend the time with that matter most.
— Angus

Angus is a rock climber, photographer, and creative. He started climbing indoors at age 15 and began really getting involved in the sport around 17. The outdoor climbing journey started soon after at the local Post Falls crag of Q’emiln. It was while climbing with a small crew of friends when he really fell in love with the sport and what it stands for.

In climbing, movement comes first. Difficulty of the climb is one thing, but movement matters most. Angus takes this philosophy into route setting and strives for flowing movement that feels like an outdoor climb.

Angus, like many in the Coeur d’Alene area, has always dreamt of a new quality climbing gym in the area. When he heard that Coeur Climbing was giving it a go, he jumped at the opportunity to help and build up the climbing community.
